Purchasing Agent

Pay Rate : The pay rate for this job is $22 - $22 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Purchasing Agent :

  • Help to maintain supply of non-inventory materials needed for warehouse operations
  • Responsible for vendor management in the Epicor system
  • Work with team to ensure all deliveries satisfy the assigned orders
  • Purchase order review to ensure accuracy with the Buyer
  • Management of supplier delivery schedules
  • Work with Operations Mgr & Buyer to develop and maintain part data maintenance
  • Work with Operations Mgr & Production Planning Team to accurately enter BOM / MOM
  • Resolution of discrepancies with shipments and invoices
  • Provide spreadsheet analysis for incoming inventory planning to maintain inventory levels
  • Follow-up with suppliers to ensure timely shipment and receipt of orders
  • Handle and reconcile receiving and invoicing issues
  • Help all manufacturing & operations departments as needed

  • Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day)

    • Job requirements :

  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task with a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively, to facilitate positive communication between intercompany departments
  • Comfortable with change
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage functions independently
  • Strong organizational skills for follow-up
  • Experience with Epicor a plus
  • Possess problem solving skills to resolve and mitigate issues
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Proficient Excel & Office computer skills
