Overview
Senior Restaurant Manager role with responsibilities spanning front-of-house management at P.F. Chang's. This is a full-time salaried position reporting to the Operating Partner, with a focus on leading front-of-house operations according to established procedures.
Job Summary
Hiring immediately for full-time salaried Senior Restaurant Assistant Manager or Senior Restaurant Hospitality Manager or Senior FOH Manager or Restaurant Senior Manager. Senior Restaurant Manager is responsible for managing and executing all front-of-house functions according to P.F. Chang's established procedures and in accordance with the direction of the Operating Partner. This is a lead front-of-house management role.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervises and facilitates training of all Hospitality Team Members
- Articulates clearly to Team Members, other members of Management, and Guests
- Develops schedules for all Hospitality Team members
- Holds pre-shift meetings to provide daily focus and direction for staff
- Enforces dress code standards for front-of-house staff
- Adheres to and enforces state safety and sanitation guidelines
- Supports inventory execution
- Manages controllable expenses for the area of responsibility
- Ensures side work is assigned and completed
- Manages check-outs for Hospitality staff
- Maintains a clean and safe environment for team members and guests
- Handles guest service issues professionally and with compassion
- Models the company values and inspires others
- Must be able to stand and walk for periods of eight to ten hours per shift
- Must be able to reach, bend, balance and lift objects weighing up to 30 lbs repeatedly; may lift up to 50 lbs
- Operate kitchen equipment (e.g., wok, mixer, slicer, buffalo chopper) and use knives safely
Job Requirements
3+ years of experience in restaurant managementValid driver's license to perform occasional duties (shift coverage, liquor license requirements, catering deliveries, travel between locations)Experience in a hands-on, fast-paced, high-volume environmentExperience mentoring and training hourly team membersStrong communication skills with the ability to resolve conflict and provide directionPreferences
