Plummer Youth Promise is a nationally recognized leader in child welfare practice, helping youth and families build permanent, lifelong connections. Weve just opened a beautiful new oceanfront building in Salem, Massachusetts, designed to inspire and support both the young people we serve and the dedicated professionals who work alongside them.
We are seeking a Clinical Director to join our leadership team and oversee the clinical services in our Community Treatment Residence and Youth & Young Adult Group Residence. What Youll Do
As Clinical Director, you will :
Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed, and permanency-centered interventions.Oversee referrals, intakes, treatment planning, and documentation with fidelity to Plummers Intervention & Outcome (I&O) Model.Provide reflective clinical supervision and guidance, building a strong culture of learning and accountability.Ensure compliance with DCF / DMH standards and DEEC licensing, while driving performance quality improvement.Represent Plummer in system-level meetings and collaborate with external stakeholders.Contribute to the growth of innovative, restraint-free residential programs that prepare youth for permanency and adulthood.What Were Looking For
Masters degree with Independent Clinical Licensure (LICSW or LMHC).5+ years of supervisory / management experience, preferably in child welfare or related fields.Demonstrated ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.Strong skills in team-building, supervision, and trauma-informed care.Commitment to equity, inclusion, and belonging in clinical practice and organizational culture.Location & Schedule
