Supplier Quality Engineer | Reedsville, Pennsylvania (On-site) Job Summary
The Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that supplier-manufactured components meet quality and compliance standards. This role involves analyzing supplier performance, driving corrective and preventive actions, and supporting continuous improvement across the supply chain. The position is critical in maintaining consistent, high-quality deliverables through collaboration with cross-functional engineering and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
Review Supplier Agreements and conduct thorough defect analyses to determine root causes and supplier accountability.
Execute Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCARs) and coordinate timely closure of actions.
Perform and monitor Design for Manufacturing and Assembly Technique (DFMAT), Supplier Approval Form (SAF), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Control Plan, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Process Validation & Verification (PV&V), First Article Inspection (FAI), and Supplier Initiated Change Requests (SICR).
Manage and oversee Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities with existing vendors to ensure continuous compliance and remediation of identified gaps.
Ensure Critical to Quality (CtQ) characteristics are defined, documented, and maintained throughout the supplier process lifecycle.
Execute and complete Part Submission Warrants (PSW) and related line release activities.
Support supplier improvement and development activities by providing training and guidance in APQP and quality system best practices.

Minimum Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Science, Industrial, Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
Experience : No prior experience required with Bachelor’s degree; OR minimum 4 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Process Engineering with Vocational Education.
Certifications : None required.
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a related Engineering discipline or equivalent vocational education.
Additional training in Quality or Supplier Management preferred but not required.
