Job description

Akkodis is seeking a Quality Engineer II for a Contract with a client in Arbor Lakes, MN. This role focuses on driving quality engineering practices across product development and manufacturing.

Rate Range : $40 / hour to $46 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Quality Engineer II job responsibilities include :

  • Develop and implement quality engineering methodologies to support product development and manufacturing processes in compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Identify and apply effective process control systems, including CAPA and risk management tools, to ensure product quality and reliability.
  • Lead or support design assurance activities, including Design FMEA, test method validation, and essential design output identification.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including documentation of protocols, reports, and rationales.
  • Utilize tools like SolidWorks, CAD, and 3D printing technologies to support product design and verification efforts.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field; Master's preferred.
  • 2-4 years with a bachelor's degree, or 1+ year with a master's degree in a quality engineering or related role.
  • Hands-on experience with 3D printing, SolidWorks, and CAD tools to support design and verification activities.
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, process controls, and CAPA methodologies in a regulated environment.

    Pay Details : $40.00 to $46.00 per hour
