Patient Sitter-HHA / CNA

Overview :

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Patient Sitter with an active HHA or CNA certification to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide one-on-one support, ensure patient safety, and assist with basic care needs while maintaining a calm and comforting presence.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide continuous observation and support for assigned patients

Assist with basic ADLs (bathing, eating, mobility) as needed

Alert nursing staff of any changes in patient behavior or safety concerns

Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment

Follow all facility policies, safety guidelines, and care procedures

Qualifications :

Active HHA or CNA certification (required)

Minimum 6 months of caregiving experience preferred

Ability to remain attentive, patient, and calm for extended periods

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a care team
