Quality Systems Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level)
At Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS), there is an exciting opportunity for a Quality Systems Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level) to join our team in San Antonio, TX. This role supports the development and execution of quality assurance plans to meet program, contract, customer, regulatory, and international standards.
Position Responsibilities
- Level 2 : Assists in review of proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements to prepare quality assurance plans and tests for hardware and software products, processes and services.
- Maintains quality directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure deployment of requirements using established procedures.
- Collects and verifies data to support root cause analysis and provides ideas for corrective action development.
- Supports quality source selection and process reviews of suppliers\' ability to meet program quality requirements; assists with audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards and customer requirements.
- Documents audit results in standard formats and compiles data for material review disposition.
- Works under general supervision.
Position Responsibilities (Level 3)
Reviews proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements ensuring early quality involvement in program development.Prepares and maintains quality directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure deployment of requirements.Analyzes process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root causes of problems.Collaborates with stakeholders to develop preventive or corrective actions and implementation plans.Conducts research and analyzes performance reports to continuously improve process capability.Performs supplier quality source selection and process reviews and prepares a coordinated response for management review.Conducts hardware, software and system level audits to ensure compliance with quality requirements and reports results to management.Analyzes data to provide material review dispositions for nonconforming materials, parts and equipment.Ability to multi-task across different projects and work in a fast-paced environment.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience)
1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).1+ year of experience performing statistical analysis.1+ year of experience working with data visualization.1+ year of experience with process or value stream mapping.1+ year of experience with root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA).Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience)
Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field.3+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing.1+ year of Tableau.1+ year of SQL.Travel up to 10% of the time. This position is on 1st shift.

Summary pay range :
Level 2 (Associate) : $67,150 - $90,850 USD
Level 3 (Mid-Level) : $80,750 – $109,250 USD
