The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides direct client care and services at the client’s residence and in accordance with a written service plan to help clients reach their goals.
The DSP will also provide safety oversight, as most clients of HDE are vulnerable citizens.
Responsibilities
- Work 1-on-1 with clients on a consistent schedule at their home and in their community
- Full and Partial assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Monitor clients for safety
- Plan and organize daily tasks
- Document services and report to supervisor weekly

Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- 6 months verifiable experience working or volunteering in a direct care setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License
