As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling a dynamic tech and media location. Your primary responsibilities include managing access to the premises, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment through your exceptional customer service and clear communication skills. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Control access to designated areas within the tech, media, and telecom location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry points.Assist with visitor management, including logging arrivals and departures and issuing visitor badges as required by site policies.Carry out security-related procedures and adhere to site-specific policies to provide customer service to clients and visitors.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting events according to established protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, observing for any irregularities or security-related concerns.Support emergency response activities as directed, following procedures tailored to the technology, media, and telecom environment.What We're Looking For :
