About the Role

What You’ll Do

Analyze blueprints and engineering drawings to determine machining requirements

Develop and verify G-code programs for CNC and NC machines

Program and nest punch press sheet steel from .dxf files, AutoCAD drawings, or sketches

Observe first-part runs and make adjustments to ensure accuracy

Operate CNC machines and punch presses when needed

Maintain tooling inventory and coordinate machine maintenance schedules

Collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, Sales, and HR to support production needs

What We’re Looking For

Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with 2D CAD-CAM

Experience with CNC programming and operations

Knowledge of G-code programming and verification

Training or experience with Amada Vipros punch press (preferred)

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
