About the Role
As part of the DeFi team at Sei, you will drive our efforts to obtain and drive meaningful DeFi partnerships and opportunities for a thriving ecosystem. This outbound position requires deep industry knowledge about DeFi trends and the ability to forge significant partnerships.
Location : This remote role must be based in APAC
Language : Bilingual in Mandarin (Native Speaker) and English
Responsibilities :
- Create and pursue top of funnel approaches to finding DeFi projects and founders (present and upcoming)
- Narrative building and sharing the vision for Sei DeFi with prospective founders
- Ensure DeFi teams find success in the Sei Ecosystem (TVL, user metrics, retention, and differentiating factors from other ecosystems)
- Develop and share tailored launch plans for founders ready to start building on Sei.
- Work with new partners to engage in GTM community building
Requirements :
Minimum of 1 year in a DeFi focused business development, partnerships, or strategy role within the DeFi intelligence industry; experience with web3 or blockchain technology is a strong plusPrior VC experience, particularly in DeFiDeep understanding crypto market dynamics, how to work with DeFi teams, and resources required for a smooth GTM and onboardingStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsRobust network within the crypto space, especially in the DeFi sectorExcellent leadership and communication abilities
