Technical Product Owner

Job Summary

This is not a typical Product Owner position. We are seeking a hands-on, technically driven Product Owner who thrives in a collaborative environment and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves to help get the work done.

The Technical Product Owner will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oracle EBS R12 Inventory Management and act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical developers. This role combines business analysis, system design oversight, and technical delivery ownership to ensure Oracle EBS R12 solutions meet strategic objectives and operational excellence standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary SME for Oracle EBS R12 Inventory Management, including strong understanding of its integration with related modules such as Purchasing and Order Management.
• Collaborate with business partners to translate functional requirements into clear, actionable technical stories.
• Review and validate functional and technical design documents to ensure alignment between business goals and technical execution.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of Oracle EBS R12 architecture and application layers, including data models, PL / SQL procedures, APIs, workflows, and integration methods (FTP, REST, etc.).
• Perform root cause analysis and drive resolution of complex issues impacting inventory and related business processes.
• Develop and implement automation tools, scripts, or process improvements to enhance system efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
• Evaluate feasibility of new change requests, define optimal technical solutions, and communicate clear implementation timelines.
• Serve as a bridge between functional and technical teams, ensuring effective communication, documentation, and project delivery.
• Maintain close alignment between technical delivery, business value, and system performance across all project stages.
