Cannonball restaurant is looking for hard working, passionate, professional Lead Expo with 4-5 shifts availability preferred. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and grow with our team.

Located in the heart of South Pasadena, 7 minutes from neighboring York Blvd, Figueroa Street & Old Town Pasadena. Cannonball! is a partnership between James Beard Award-winning & Michelin starred chef Matt Molina and his longtime business partner & co-owner / operator of HiPPO, E.R.B. & Triple Beam Pizza, Joe Capella. The kitchen program varies from snacks to small plates while being thoughtful, eclectic & gunslinging with offerings both from travels around the world & from within our own communities, all the while maintaining a focus toward complementing extensive wine and spirits lists & craft cocktail menu from an award winning beverage team.

Job Summary :  The Lead Expo will be responsible for coordinating the flow of service, maintaining quality control, and ensuring every dish meets our standards before leaving the pass.

Responsibilities :

• Manage the flow of communication between the kitchen and service teams to ensure accuracy and timing of orders.
• Maintain food handling procedures outlined by the front of house management team and SafeServe guidelines
• Prioritize and pace tickets in alignment with order volume and guest experience expectations.
• Keep constant communication with kitchen staff on timings and seatings
• Knowledge of menu descriptions and ingredients
• An unwavering commitment to excellence and hospitality
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with our building employees
• Understanding of dining room and kitchen operations
• Implementation of service standards and systems
• Ensuring guest satisfaction for the duration of their time in our restaurant

Compensation Details :

Benefits :  Health insurance benefits for full-time employees after 90 days

Compensation : Hourly ($17.28 + tips)
