Job description

Insurity's Next Renewal Sales Executive

As a member of the growing Renewal Team, you will be responsible for managing the renewal pipeline for existing client contracts. In this role, you will ensure on time customer renewals, produce renewal proposals, present renewal options, renewal forecasting, and interface with other departments including Customer Success, Offer Management, Finance, and Legal.

What Our Renewal Sales Executive Will Do

  • Manage and renew our subscription base
  • Partner with the field sales team, including being the customer interface
  • Manage all relevant renewal related data within Salesforce.com as well as maintain accurate and timely updates of information
  • Identify opportunities to migrate existing customers to new Orders / MSA's
  • Review all relevant Contracts to gather terms, pricing details, and other relevant information
  • Open Deal Desk Cases to reprice customers when needed and provide all needed details for accurate pricing
  • Collaborate on sales strategies, coordinate proposals, and sales opportunities with Sales teams in effort to drive Renewal Rate
  • Overcome objections and adjust proposals as required to ensure best solution is presented to the client
  • Track and provide status updates on all assigned opportunities
  • Consistently offer cross-sell initiatives on each renewal
  • Project manage the renewal experience in close partnership with assigned Customer Success Manager, Account Executive and Account Manager to provide a seamless customer experience
  • Retain and increase subscription revenue in existing customer accounts by positioning multi-year renewals and implementing cross-sell initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to migrate existing customers from our legacy platforms
  • Update renewal forecast on a weekly basis with Director
  • Continuously gather feedback on the renewal experience and provide to management to improve process

Who We're Looking For

  • Comfortable with negotiation and having conversations with procurement departments
  • High confidence in managing customer quoting, contracts, and terms
  • Strong customer-facing acumen and communication skills
  • Account management, territory planning and opportunity management experience
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and to help manage a high volume of accounts
  • Able to build relationships quickly and work across many cross-functional teams
  • Must be self-motivated, goal-oriented, able to work independently with little oversight to deliver on deadlines and ensure timeliness of renewals
  • Comfortable managing and analyzing large amounts of data
  • Must be highly proficient in Excel and Salesforce
  • 3+ years in Renewals, Account Management, Inside Sales, Business Development, or Customer Success preferred
  • Insurance Knowledge preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales & marketing or equivalent work experience

    We continuously analyze and update our salary ranges for our roles according to market trends to not only ensure our employees are paid fairly, but also help close gender, race, and disability wage gaps. Along with the benefits listed above, the salary range for this role is $80,000 to $140,000, commensurate with experience.

    Languages for Qubec candidates : The knowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec. The English language is required for this position in order to communicate with clients, partners, and colleagues, who are strictly located outside of Qubec. French-language training will be offered to candidates who do not have a good knowledge of French.
