Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34 / hour . Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

This position offers a $1.75 / hour weekend differential.

Overview

Sign On Bonus Eligible! $1,600 Sign On Bonus with a 1-year work commitment

• Must be of legal age to sign a contract, which is at least 18 years old, to be eligible for a sign on bonus. Candidates under 18 years old may still be considered for the position but are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.

UNIT OVERVIEW :

Welcome to Neuro Med / Surg! We care for patients who have Neurological and Neurosurgical needs. For Example, patients who have had a stroke, neck and back surgery or seizures. Many of our patients need assistance with daily cares due to their condition. We have a great team that works together and it is a great place to get new experiences.

POSITION SUMMARY :

The Patient Care Technician / Certified Nursing Assistant (PCT / CNA) provides appropriate safe basic care to patients which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical / emotional changes. Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed. Duties may vary according to department expectations and needs.
