Tallahassee State College is thrilled to announce a full-time grant-funded opening for the position of Career Development Specialist, Milton, FL - P10034 with DOC Santa Rosa CI Annex / Work Camp . We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant workplace community.

As a Career Development Specialist, you'll play a key role in providing services related to Compass 100 Hybrid and supplemental in-cell assignments through cell-front instruction for eligible participants who are in restrictive housing as directed by the Lead Educator.

Day-to-day, you'll be responsible for :

• Facilitating employability and life skills, administration and interpretation of assessments, and training to include the Compass 100 hybrid curriculum and Thinking for a Change.
• Providing services related to Compass 100 Hybrid and supplemental in-cell assignments through cell-front instruction for eligible participants who are in restrictive housing as directed by the Lead Educator. Providing facilitation of employability and life skills programs. Providing administration and interpretation of assessments.
• Providing services related to Compass 100 Hybrid through a small group setting to eligible participants who are not in restrictive housing as directed by the Lead Educator and other programs as determined by the Department. Providing facilitation of pre-release connections with community providers and employers through face-to-face and technology-based interactions to include pre-release job search, recruitment, and placement activities.
• Reporting monthly attendance, program enrollments and completions on the Department of Corrections approved format. Maintaining and providing documentation of services delivered.
