The Software Engineer for Cell DIVE will work with a small development team responsible for creating, expanding, and supporting the existing codebase using WPF / WCF.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop .NET WPF / WCF software used in the image acquisition and post-processing steps of biological fluorescent imaging workflows.
- Support existing code fixing defects looking for opportunities to refactor and optimize.
- Support tech debt discussions and implementation.
- Work with image acquisition systems including capture, manipulation, and optimization of image data.
- Help the team to improve the technical quality of their work through regular technical design and code reviews.
- Participate in an Agile environment contributing to the entire SDLC process.
Who You Are :
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)Minimum of 3 years of Software Development experience architecting and maintaining thin / thick clients and API'sStrong technical contributor with a proven track record of using your expertise to help the teamExtensive experience with .NET, .NET Core, C#, Visual StudioExtensive experience with WCF, WPF, MVVM, MEFMust be willing to work out of an office located in Bellevue, WALegal authorization to work in the U.S. is requiredDesired Characteristics :
