  • Provide on-going subject matter expertise support to FAS and Territory Management teams.

Training and Support

  • Arrange and provide applications-based training to new and existing users of all SPT Labtech and Apricot liquid handling instruments.
  • Provide on-going remote and in-person applications support to end-users.
  • Develop, modify, and enhance advanced liquid handling and automation protocols to optimize client operations.

Internal Support

  • Contribute to conference strategy and attend conferences.
  • Maintain Salesforce recordkeeping.

Marketing

  • Seek and deliver a targeted amount of marketing content in the form of customer-driven applications notes, webinars, and conference-presentations, including posters
  • Participate in strategic collaborations to regularly deliver scientific content for marketing.
  • Collect customer feedback (product development, software, etc).
  • Maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to Associate FAS, as needed.

Skills & Attributes

  • MSc with at least five years’ practical experience or a PhD and at least two years practical experience in a Biological Science discipline, liquid handling, laboratory automation or related field in an industry or academic environment.
  • Working knowledge of NGS methods used in research, with experience using liquid handling and automation being preferable (HTS, Assay Development, or molecular or structural biology backgrounds will also be considered)
  • Experience with workflow optimization in genomics, drug discovery, and structural biology.
  • Good understanding of genomics, drug discovery, and structural biology.
  • Practical experience with genomics/molecular biology is desirable.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%), including internationally.
  • Amiable personality; excellent organizational, analytical, troubleshooting, record-keeping, and communication skills; professional demeanour.
  • Previous experience in field applications, teaching, marketing or customer service a plus.
  • Leadership ability with a demonstrated record of mentorship.
  • Ability to work efficiently and both independently and within a team structure.
  • Ability to work toward corporate goals.
  • Excellent presentation and training skills.

Our commitment to you:

You will be collaborating with talented professionals in a motivated and driven team.

We offer a competitive salary package, performance-related bonus and comprehensive, valued benefits, including private medical insurance.

If the above resonates with you, apply with an up-to-date CV and be a part of our journey to reshape the future of science.
