The Role

We are seeking a professional to strengthen the accounting team. This position will be focused on various accounting tasks and will be responsible for providing accurate, timely accounting information to assist decision-making. This is a perfect opportunity for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic accounting environment.

Responsibilities :

• Batching, uploading and identifying the line of business for incoming checks
• Stub and stuff checks and wires
• Separates Participation Statements and forwards them to Forensic Team
• Opening and distributing mail to appropriate team members when necessary
• Provide tracking into as requested for payments
• Assist with receiving and distributing tax documents
• Other accounting tasks as requested by Management
• Escalate issues, as needed, to the Trust Accounting Operations Supervisor
• Support system and process improvement projects
• Onboarding of clients, managers and attorneys to accounting system to receive payment remittance

The scope of responsibility includes U.S. Trust Accounting for all line of business.

Location :

This role is Hybrid, based out of the Los Angeles office.

Compensation :

The base hourly rate for this position is in the range of $22.00 - $28.00. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
