Our Safeway Denver Beverage facility is looking to add Maintenance Manager to our team. If you are an enthusiastic leader with a knack for process improvement and driving performance we would love to meet you!

The expected salary for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 Annually)

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Oversee preventative maintenance compliance and effectiveness
  • Develop, monitor, and ensure timely completion of plant goals / action plans, both short and long term
  • Utilize new technology and lean manufacturing principals and processes available to maximize efficiency
  • Promote development of cost saving initiatives
  • Have or develop a network base with equipment vendors
  • Develop a work environment within manufacturing that promotes trust, teamwork quality and safety
  • Ensure production of a quality product in compliance with Safeway, Federal and State guidelines Ensure regulatory compliance as appropriate (OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA, HACCP, Etc.)

Minimum Qualifications :

  • 3 years manufacturing plant engineering / management experience which includes financial management and project development and project management experience
  • 2 or more years working with Lean Manufacturing principles

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Strong leadership background - the desire and ability to drive performance
  • Ability to manage and develop employees
  • Ability to interface with regulatory agencies
  • Strong skills Working knowledge of MS applications including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, - PowerPoint and ability to grasp additional business-related applications
