Managing Director of Finance

A company is looking for a Managing Director of Finance.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic advisor to the Executive Director, providing insights on financial forecasting and performance improvement

Lead the budgeting process and ensure effective use of resources in alignment with organizational goals

Oversee finance operations and manage the finance team, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or equivalent experience; MBA or CPA preferred

7-10 years of relevant experience in nonprofit finance management

Expertise in managing nonprofit finances and knowledge of GAAP

Experience with federal grants and scaling financial operations

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
