Position Summary :
Supervise the daily operations of our material handling / plant warehouse operations, which includes overseeing and leading the staff and duties of team members, including inventory control to achieve productivity goals and company objectives. Strong leadership experience is required as you will provide the highest standards of service to MZB-USA customers. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong coaching, leadership, and communication skills, and must possess a continuous improvement mindset to drive results.
First & Third Shifts available.
- Must have strong leadership experience and conducted performance reviews to qualify.
Job Duties :
Oversee the day-to-day warehouse operations and monitor the safety, quality and productivity of warehouse teamsLead operational procedures to include the incoming and outgoing shipments and movement of material to and from the manufacturing lines; maintain and handle the organization of inventoryAssign workloads and daily tasks; establish individual productivity goals of warehouse staffSupervise, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectivenessPlan schedules and resource allocation for the completion of job assignments while keeping time and attendance recordsResponsible for the integrity of the physical inventories, such as recordkeeping and documentation while ensuring timely and accurate warehouse transactionsExecute against performance goals – engage and coach teams for high productivity and successSupport and assist with the training of new hiresConduct performance reviews and assist with setting goals as neededManage to budget; responsible for efficient and effective operations of shipping and receiving – ensuring customer orders are met and procedures are followedExecute direct sales deliveries, supporting the service strategies in placeEstablish, maintain, and promote high standards of customer serviceMonitor and enforce compliance with company policies and safety regulations to ensure the safety of all warehouse employees; ensure current policies are in place and followed with uniformity and consistencyMaintain departmental programs which assure full compliance with Federal and State warehouse safety and sanitation standards; maintain sanitation standards and recordkeeping as requiredParticipate in external and internal auditsResponsible for warehouse fleet management, maintenance, training, and recordkeepingUtilize continuous improvement methods to establish and complete projects to improve processesPerform other duties and special projects related to distribution as neededQualifications & Requirements :
BA or BS college degree required, or equivalent strong and relatable work experience such as inventory managementFive years (minimum) of supervisory experience in a warehousing or logistics environment requiredExtensive knowledge of RF systems required; efficiencies in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerpointExperience executing engagement initiatives strongly preferredStrong problem solving and planning skills with a focus on the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute are essential to this positionAbility to work independently with minimal supervision requiredMust be able to work rotating shifts and / or weekends in support of a flexible sales operation as neededExcellent interpersonal skills; ability to provide accurate, timely, courteous, and professional communication –with and a strong desire to reach resolutions
Required knowledge of accepted quality assurance procedures and guidelines, effective oral and written communication skills, and expertise in the areas of human relations skills and customer serviceAbility to direct, consult, gain consensus, and effectively delegate required – with strong coaching and mentorship skillsAbility to effectively communicate orally and in writing at all levels of the organizationProficient knowledge of warehouse inventory management procedures requiredEqual Opportunity Employer : disability / veteran.
