About The Position

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Locum Opportunity

Location : East Lansing, MI

Dates : Starting December 15 - ongoing (future dates to be determined)

Schedule : 7 : 30 AM – 4 : 00 PM | 2 days on / 1 day off (some cases may start earlier)

Call : None

Overview

A CRNA-only practice in East Lansing is seeking locum coverage for a variety of surgical cases. This opportunity offers a consistent schedule with no call responsibilities and exposure to a mix of ENT, orthopedic, spine, podiatry, and cosmetic procedures. Providers must be comfortable working independently and proficient in regional techniques.

Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia for ENT, orthopedic, spine, podiatry, and cosmetic procedures

Perform spinals, blocks, and epidurals

Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments

Obtain and verify patient consent

Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients

Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia

Monitor patient condition and provide clinical interventions as needed

Requirements

ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required

Proficiency in spinals, blocks, and epidurals

Experience in an independent CRNA practice model preferred
