Qualifications :
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without accommodation.
Education / Experience :
High school diploma field required; 2 years’ experience working with people with developmental and / or similar disabilities if degree is in related field or 3 years’ experience if degree is in an unrelated field. Knowledge of Behavioral Health Standards and funding sources required.
The primary duties of this position are to supervise and coordinate activities that enrich the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities onsite and in the community.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to operate a variety of automated office machines and other equipment (e.g., computers, copier, wheelchairs). Must be able to exert up to fifty pounds of force occasionally and / or frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Physical demands are more than sedentary work; position requires walking, standing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, etc.
