Urban Self Storage is looking for a dynamic and skilled HR Manager to manage the full spectrum employee lifecycle from recruiting and onboarding, to compensation and benefits, to retention, rewards, and performance management.
Role Full Time | 35 Hours Weekly $40 to $45 Per Hour Full Health Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision and $1,000 HRA Responsibilities Manage and leverage TriNet ASO support teams Coordinate & manage recruiting system, including ATS design and functionality Post & manage job postings and performance Screen candidates For hiring managers Support onboarding, including background checks, verification, and overall readiness Update hiring documents, agreements, letters, etc.
Conduct new hire orientations Process leaves and returns Process terminations and conduct exit interviews Process pay changes, garnishments, and other profile changes Ensure seamless payroll processes - timesheets, PTO, bonuses, off cycle runs, etc.
Liaise with TriNet ASO and VP of Accounting on payroll tax - rates, returns, etc.
Manage health benefits - Enrollment(s), HRA admin, quarterly lunch and learns Coordinate annual handbook update, implementing any changes in TriNet Ensure compliance - ACA, FMLA, minimum wage, office postings, etc.
Respond to unemployment claims Research and recommend updated pay ranges by position Handle employee complaints and challenging separations Generate and share feedback through surveys, new hire check ins, etc.
Create, update, and operationalize review process Drive regular employee recognition through communication and rewards Experience | Qualifications 2-5 years of HR generalist experience 1+ years of payroll administration experience Bachelors Degree (Preferred) SHRM Certification (Preferred) Skills | Qualities Adaptive with growth mindset Hyper-organized with meticulous attention to detail Self-driven without requiring oversight Digital proficiency, including data, platforms, and spreadsheets Optimistic and friendly personality Powered by JazzHR
