Security Professional - Unarmed Logistics Site Patrol

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Logistics Site Patrol in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and foster a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will support a positive atmosphere, while you deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate : $17.45 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Tue 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Wed 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding security-related concerns and / or incidents.
  • Assist with access control processes for visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel according to site protocols.
  • Remain alert to environmental and operational hazards within the logistics and distribution location, reporting concerns as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
