Financial Planning and Analysis Manager
- Salary Range : $89,648 - $107,578 based on relevant years of experience
- Location : Larimer county, Colorado
- Status : Full time, 40 hours per week
- Hours : Monday -Friday
Role Overview :
Responsible for serving as a finance business partner for inpatient facilities, supporting several grant, contract, facility, and budget owners. Own inpatient reporting activities and other initiatives as they arise. Lead various financial activities including planning, budgeting, data gathering, trending, modeling, forecasting, and reporting as part of a larger finance team. Collect information from various areas across the organization and assist with building models, providing insight into underlying contract and business dynamics. Collaborate with all levels of the organization to resolve issues of varying magnitude with robust financial analysis. This position will both own and contribute to processes across the entire organization.
Essential Duties :
Prepares accurate and timely financial and business-related analysis, research, and forecasts to identify correlations and causal relationships that drive economic value.Creates accurate and timely reports, including concise commentary and visual representations of findings.Conceptualizes, develops, and presents budgets, business cases, financial models, and financial reports to internal leadership and external partners.Leads various improvement projects in special financial and business-related studies as needed to support project objectives.Serve as the financial business partner to inpatient facilities, supporting them with analysis, reporting and identifying improvement opportunities.Develop tools, scorecards, and models (using Excel, BI and other tools) to analyze and communicate financial performance up and down the organization.Coordinate, prepare monthly reports and forecasts, providing variance analyses and billing support for certain grants.Provides mentoring and training to others within the organization.Perform other duties as assigned.Required :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, or equivalent field required.Master's degree in preferred.More than five years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in healthcare, required.Financial planning and analysis experience preferred.Understanding or experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI preferredEquivalent combination of education and experience may be evaluated and considered.Highly Desired :
Experience in Non-Profit, Behavioral Health, or Healthcare settings.Bilingual / bi-cultural preferred.Total Rewards
