Planning And Landscape Architecture Project Leader
A professional experienced in the planning, design and implementation of Planning and Landscape Architecture projects. Responsible for leading the regional planning practice in business development, project design / delivery, client relations, financial management and staff development. Assists the Business Unit in developing and executing Planning regional strategies.
Responsibilities : Leadership
- Is an extended member of the Planning firm-wide leadership team and participates in defining the vision, strategy, and business plans for the firm-wide practice
- Is the primary representative for Planning in their region
- Fulfills the firmwide Regional Market Leader criteria :

- Advocates design excellence and innovation
- Fosters teamwork and collaboration
- Supports expert project delivery
- Champions a profitable practice
- Will occasionally serve as principal-in-charge (PIC) for Planning projects
- Understands the industry, regional client sensitivities, and market drivers
- Participates with other Planning Regional Leaders and Directors of Planning in HOK firm-wide activities

Design
Responsible for promoting and maintaining HOK's design reputationLeads design teams, providing overall design direction to ensure high-quality designResponsible for conceptual design excellence; initiates project design and idea discussionsManagement
Provides day-to-day administration of the Planning regional practiceIs the primary Planning Liaison with the regional business unitIs responsible for the successful execution of the defined practice goals and business planMay serve as Principal-In-Charge (PIC) and / or Project Manager on one or more projectsMonitors the status of all Planning regional projectsRegularly reports regional status to Planning firm-wide leadership teamAssists in preparing project fee and workload projectionsWith the appointed PM, is responsible for regional Planning project performanceMonitors and maintains an appropriate level of chargeabilityEducation & Experience :
Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, urban design or planning, Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 10 plus years' experience, with at least 5 years within a management / leadership role.Registration with current license required if offered in your region.LEED AP or GA required within 12 months of employmentOther :
