We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Sr. Pipeline Engineer to support our Natural Gas Transmission business. This role is responsible for designing, reviewing, and executing pipeline operations while managing risk and reliability. The successful candidate will provide technical guidance to field personnel and ensure safe, compliant, and efficient transmission system operations.

What you will do :

• Design, review, and execute pipeline operations to support safe and efficient gas transmission.
• Provide technical input and oversight for gas handling procedures, ensuring safety during system configuration changes.
• Identify and assess integrity threats from construction activities, easement encroachments, heavy equipment crossings, and environmental changes.
• Evaluate and rank risks across the system to support prioritization and funding of safety, integrity, and reliability projects.
• Independently manage the design and execution of projects aimed at risk mitigation and regulatory compliance.
• Provide guidance and support to field personnel and other engineers during procedure reviews and operational planning.
• Directly responsible for the safety of Area Operations personnel and surrounding stakeholders by approving gas handling procedures and overseeing system configuration changes.
• Makes critical decisions and provides technical support for procedure reviews and operational changes.
• Assesses threats to pipeline integrity from external factors and environmental conditions.
• Supports risk ranking and project prioritization to ensure effective use of resources.
• Manages projects from design through execution with a focus on safety, compliance, and reliability.
