A day in your life at our Camilla, GA plant
You arrive at the facility and start with a safety check, then move right into hands-on work on our industrial ammonia refrigeration systems. You’ll troubleshoot issues, perform preventive tasks that keep production running, and document your work so the team has a clear maintenance history. Collaboration and safety are central to everything you do.
What you'll do
- Install, service, and repair industrial ammonia refrigeration equipment and related components.
- Diagnose performance problems through routine inspections and testing; correct issues to keep uptime high.
- Execute preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Maintain thorough service records and enter accurate details into company systems.
- Work closely with teammates to promote a safe, efficient operation.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks; work at height using ladders; utilize fall protection; and apply Lockout / Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Keep current with refrigeration best practices, technologies, and industry developments.
- Follow all applicable safety rules, procedures, and regulations.
- Take on other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
What you bring
At least 1 year of documented refrigeration experience in your application work history, or graduation from a refrigeration maintenance training program. Experience can be combined from multiple employers as long as it totals a minimum of one year.Rehire eligibility at this facility requires a 180-day break in service and fewer than three prior terms of employment.Age 18 or older with valid identification.Comfort using basic hand tools.Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.Ability to complete computer-based training and record work in the SAP system.Ability to read and follow work assignments.Physical capability to lift 50 lbs; climb 120 feet of stairs and ladders up to 60 feet; stand for extended periods; and work in extreme hot, cold, and inclement weather conditions.Pay, bonus, and benefits
