General Purpose of the Position :
Ensure all health, safety, environmental, and quality programs and policies for IGS are adhered to. Plan, execute, control and coordinate to ensure accurate estimate, resource planning, mobilization, project safety, personnel, equipment, material control, project documentation and reporting, customer relations and communication, scope and quality management, demobilization, and post project review for Metalspray, weld overlay, mechanical or LPA filtration projects from a site location within the quoted time and budget. Understand IGS product and service offerings and how they relate to solving metal wastage problems for customer equipment and processes, support growth of strong customer relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Project Planning
- Reviews quote and estimate with regional sales manager and / or estimator and ensures the sales to operations handoff is complete
- Generate project plan summarizing schedule of events
- Plan site layout per customer, work and safety requirements
- Communicate resource requirements
- Manage travel lodging and other personnel logistics
- Verify resource availability
- Request project equipment, materials and consumables
- Prepare, maintain, and control project management files and reports pre and post job
- Obtain required customer approvals and signatures
Project Execution
Manage work to scope of contractReceive, control and secure equipment, materials and consumables on siteEnsure equipment specifications and functionalityPrepare and submit time and material sheets and billing documentation as needed per purchase orderPrepare and submit per diem and other cash card requestsApprove man hours on weekly time sheet for payrollUnderstand IGS health & safety compliance as well as customer / project specific complianceMonitor and control project costs in accordance with scope of workEnsure proper authorizations obtained for changes to scope of workCoordinate final inspection by customers' and external inspectorsEquipment and Process Support
Understand IGS product and service offerings and how they relate to solving metal wastage problems for customer equipment and processesPerform quality inspections, as needed, of the surface applications; analyze, communicate recommended solutions based on resultsUnderstand equipment operation and requirements for repair and maintenancePost Job Execution
Performs post project materials inventory and communicates results to accounting departmentReview and approve all project charges and total job costCommunicates project completion to accounting department and managementSales and Customer Support
Support sales and managerial team as needed during estimating process including attending pre-bid meetings and inspectionsScope and sell additional project opportunities while on-siteCollaborate with other IGS personnel for ongoing customer / account managementGeneral assistance with corporate, operational and / or administrative matters when not assigned to project workSkills and Abilities Required :

High physical effort and high level of physical exertion is required for this positionJob is performed in a challenging environment in various client facilities which includes but are not limited to refineries, paper mills and power plants in both the USA and International locationsDifficult working conditions characterized by long hours with at least 12-hour shiftsChallenging working conditions including exposure to hazardous materials, heat and coldWork on project sites is often performed in full personal protective equipmentMust be physically able to move in and out of confined spaces4 to 7 months of extensive travel, including international travelEducation and Experience Required :
