We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to join our Wilpinjong Mine. Wilpinjong is an open cut mine located 58 kilometers northeast of Mudgee producing thermal coal for both export and domestic markets. We have a predominately CAT fleet, with haul roads kept LV free with dedicated LV roads.

Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, this role will provide leadership for all day-to-day production activities in compliance with all relevant statutes and responsible to achieve safe and effective production. This position is suited to an individual looking to progress their mining career. We have continual career progression opportunities and exposure to truck / shovel (digger), dozer push and cast blast in a fast-paced low strip ratio 4 : 1 open cut mining environment.

This low strip ratio and multiple seam opportunities suits those who enjoy the challenge of achieving safe production in an evermoving landscape.

This position is offered on a family-friendly rotating panel roster with a mix of days and nights, which is suited to a residential lifestyle in nearby Mudgee district. Alternative commute & roster arrangements will be considered (e.g. DIDO) for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will hold an OCE qualification and current NSW practicing certificate . Leadership experience in an open cut mining production environment is essential.
