Description :

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specialized in NICU.

The role involves floating to Pediatrics and providing care for stable post-partum couples.

Orientation shifts are available for both departments.

The unit typically manages a patient census of 12.

Previous charge experience is preferred.

Experience with charting systems is required.

Travel experience is a must.

Familiarity with a variety of clinical skills in neonatal care is essential.

Key skills include neonatal dosage calculations, monitoring, and support for breastfeeding.

Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in invasive hemodynamic monitoring and other specialized procedures.

Additional tasks may include phlebotomy, telemetry, and management of chest tubes.

Neonates aged 34 weeks and above may require specific care techniques.

Candidates must also exhibit strong communication skills for patient and family education.

The position requires ongoing collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Flexibility for weekend coverage is necessary.
