Position Overview

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Healthstar, you will :

• Patient Care : Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnose mental health conditions, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing management of acute and chronic psychiatric issues.
• Medication Management : Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications, ensuring effective treatment and managing side effects.
• Therapeutic Services : Provide psychotherapy and counseling to individuals and groups, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Collaboration : Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
• Education : Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
