About the Team

Joining the Enterprise Data Storage and Consumption Team offers a unique opportunity to be at the heart of our data strategy. On this team, you will focus on our enterprise data lake platform, our strategic enterprise platform that centralizes all of Capital One's shared and analytical data. By housing data in a single, unified location, our data lake dramatically simplifies and enhances the entire data lifecycle-from ingestion, security, and monitoring to management and consumption. This specific role focuses on the critical data access space. You'll work on the tools and integrations needed for internal customers like data analysts and ML engineers to effectively consume this enterprise data, including collaborating with third-party partners on our ecosystem. Furthermore, you'll be instrumental in tackling complex challenges like managing unstructured data (such as videos) and proactively mitigating data risk and exposure across the platform, directly impacting our ability to innovate safely and at scale.

Basic Qualifications :

A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA : $193,000 - $220,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management

New York, NY : $210,500 - $240,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management

Richmond, VA : $175,500 - $200,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and / or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
