Join us as a Systems Engineer supporting a key program within the Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) business unit. This position allows you to enhance your skills in requirements clarification, analysis, algorithm development, requirements definition, interface definition, and validation and verification processes.

What You Will Do

Conduct technical analyses and define system operations by creating use cases.

Break down requirements, establish system interfaces, and assist in validating and verifying requirements with the test team.

Provide engineering support for a portion of the program's test process, including test processes, baseline definitions, design of test architecture, and verification and validation efforts.

Assist with regression testing across different program baseline releases.

Engage in technical reviews and interchanges to support program development.

Qualifications You Must Have

A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Experience in one or more of the following : operations concept development, requirements management, functional analysis, interface definition, and verification and validation.

Qualifications We Prefer

Development experience on government contracts.

Knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle, roles, and functions.

Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience in Satellite Command / Control, Mission Management, or Planning.

Proficiency with Agile toolsets (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket).

Experience working with requirements management tools such as DOORS.

Experience in DevOps / DevSecOps within Agile development environments.

Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python).

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. This salary range is a good faith estimate reflective of various experience levels, with factors such as role responsibilities, education, work experience, and skills considered in the final offer. We provide a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, parental leave, and more. Specific benefits vary by business unit and collective-bargaining agreements.
