Staff Database Engineer

A company is looking for a Staff Database Infrastructure Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Design and rearchitect infrastructure platform components for high availability, scalability, reliability, and security

Manage database infrastructure including BigQuery, Redis, AlloyDB, and Cassandra, ensuring performance and cost-efficiency

Monitor database performance, manage data ingestion pipelines, and ensure data security and compliance

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent

8+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed systems in production environments

5+ years of experience with Infrastructure Platforms and CI / CD pipelines, preferably in GCP

Deep expertise in AlloyDB, BigQuery, or similar database technologies

Experience managing large-scale data pipelines using tools like Dataflow or Kafka
