Description :

Start date : ASAP with weekly starts.

Shift hours are from 18 : 45 to 07 : 15.

Call requirement : None.

Weekend requirement : Yes.

Float requirement : Within skillset if needed.

Common diagnoses and treatments include induction of labor, C-sections, augmentation of labor, simple labor, and triage of labor.

The unit has 6 beds with a typical nurse to patient ratio of 1-2.

The age groups of patients include adults and infants.

Charting is done using Cerner.

Scrub color is determined by facility guidelines.

Areas available for float support include mother-baby and women's services.

Special procedures performed include C-sections and fetal monitoring.

Additional information includes proficiency in pitocin administration.
