Compensation : $18+ hourly DOE
$18+ hourly DOE
Responsibilities :
- Perform preparation work prior to painting
- Cleans and prepares the surface of articles to be painted
- Operate and maintain paint equipment in good working order
- Prime and paint composite and metal parts to specific dry film thickness
- Work closely with fabricators and finishers
- Knowledge and ability to specify equipment
Qualifications :
- Some paint experience, or a willingness to learn and achieve in a new trade(Willing to train the right candidate)
- Ability to read and understand instructions and technical documents such as paint mixing procedures, safety rules, and material specification drawings that pertain to paint
- Must be physically capable of executing the daily requirements of the job (able to lift up to 75 pounds, standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing)
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Continually demonstrates a productive and non-disruptive work ethic, the willingness to take and follow directions from the area supervisor, and the ability to work independently
