SUMMARY

Construction, maintenance and / or service related work as directed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Constructs new overhead lines.
• Constructs new underground lines.
• Restores service and troubleshoot.
• Sets up service and maintain lines and apparatus.
• Re-conducts or converts existing lines.
• Ensures safe work conditions.
• Operates and maintains equipment.
• Trains personnel, plans jobs, and maintains records.
• Available to perform on call work as necessary.
• May serve either as switchman or dispatcher.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with two to three years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and / or experience related to the discipline.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must possess a current, legally valid Commercial Driver's License and meet the company's driving record requirements.

Provides assistance to general labor, construction, maintenance and / or service related work as directed.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with one to two years of general construction experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and / or experience related to the discipline.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must possess a current, legally valid Driver's License and meet the Company's driving record requirements.

Ability to acquire a Commercial Driver's License.
