About the Role :
The Development Engineer plays a critical role in advancing manufacturing processes and product designs within the organization. This position is responsible for driving project development from concept through to production, ensuring that engineering solutions meet quality, cost, and timeline objectives. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including OEM management, tooling specialists, and the engineering department to implement effective engineering changes and improvements using lean manufacturing disciplines. The Development Engineer will utilize advanced software tools such as Solidworks and AutoCAD to create and interpret detailed mechanical designs and finite element analyses. Ultimately, this role ensures that manufacturing processes are optimized and that products meet rigorous performance and reliability standards.

The Development Engineer will apply their expertise in mechanical design and CNC programming daily to develop precise and manufacturable products. Proficiency in Autodesk and AutoCAD software enables the creation and modification of detailed engineering drawings that guide production and tooling. Strong communication skills in English facilitate effective collaboration with OEMs, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring clear understanding of project requirements and engineering changes. Familiarity with ERP software supports efficient project tracking and resource management, while knowledge of finite element analysis and failure analytical methods allows for proactive identification and resolution of design and manufacturing challenges. Lean manufacturing expertise for process improvements. These combined skills ensure the engineer can drive continuous improvement and innovation within the manufacturing process.
