The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis is hiring a Family Service Worker (FSW) in the Head Start / Early Head Start program.

The FSW Responsibilities Include

• Recruiting and enrolling children of eligible families.
• Providing social services case management activities including the completion of the child health requirements.
• Supports the larger system of services provided by Head Start / Early Head Start, thereby supporting the goals of the program.
• Maintaining a full caseload of children, maintaining an ongoing waiting list to ensure vacancies are filled within 30 days, conducting a minimum of two (2) home visits per family to facilitate family plans, assisting families with achieving identified goals and following up on referrals, making a minimum of 10 contacts per week with assigned families, documenting contacts in database / file, and other duties as assigned.
