Job Description : Responsibilities :

- Maintaining & supporting all equipment in JIT Production Environment and other areas as required.
- Complete all tasks, work orders, & PM's as directed by supervisor in a safe & timely manner.
- Make approved modifications to machinery and equipment to meet production needs.
- Perform repairs, rebuild & trouble shoot equipment to ensure production efficiencies are met.
- Daily record all line calls, work orders, PM's & work history electronically in the e-Maintenance System.
- Complete all required and applicable training required by the company.
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed (daily, weekly, shutdowns etc).
- Must be willing to work any shift on short, but reasonable notice.
- Must continuously improve and develop skills / knowledge.
- Complete all other tasks as requested by the Engineering Manager and / or Maintenance Supervisor.
- Authority and responsibility to stop the production line should a safety or quality issue appear.
- Maintain license to operate a Hilo, Scissor Lift and Articulating Lift.
- Excellent attendance and steady work history.
Requirements :
- Education Required : High school diploma or equivalent, certification (Preferred).
- Experience Required : Journeyman’s Card -OR - 3-5 yrs of experience of maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant.
- Experience in industrial automotive preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills, detail oriented, adaptability towards change, and teamwork.
- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
- Mechanical, Technical & Electrical Expertise (preferred).

Physical Requirements (Due to the nature of the job) :
- Due to the nature of the job the candidate should be able to lift 30 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to safely access vertical areas via stairs or ladder.
- Ability to safely climb and work on a ladder.
- Ability to safely work with Power Tools.
- Standing or walking 6-8 hours to assist production.
- Bending, Pushing, & Pulling.
