Responsibilities
The Substation Operations Maintenance Worker position tasks requirements to perform will include (but not limited to) :
- Fixed Platform Crane Operation (with certification)
- Swing Cab Crane (with certification)
- Snow Plowing
- Equipment Operation
- Substation Safe Entry
- Transformer Oil Samples
- LTC Oil Samples
- Substation Inspections
- Battery Inspections
- General Substation Maintenance - (Not including Journeyman Maintenancework)
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or proof of equivalent.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Must be able to work at heights or in confined spaces.
- Must be able to work inside electrical substations another high voltage environments.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement within six (6) months of starting position.
- Must have or be able to obtain the company required fixed & swing cab crane certifications within eighteen (18) months of starting the position.
