Day in the life of a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) :
As an RN at TrustPoint, your day-to-day will consist of : interacting with patients and their families, treatment planning, completing shift reports, rounding / monitoring in the milieu, medication administration, checking in with BHAs, following up on incidents, completing nursing assessments and ensuring regulatory compliance, etc.
Our Units : Adult Thought & Mood Disorders, Child, Adolescent, Geriatric, Rehab Outpatient, Rehab, Physical Rehab & Medicine, ECT, PHP and more
Population : Adolescents (10-17) and Adults (18+)

Qualifications
Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
- Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by Tennessee or be eligible to practice nursing in accordance with state requirements
- One year of nursing experience; previous psychiatric, mental, behavioral, or substance abuse nursing experience a plus
- CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
- First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
