Description :

This position is for a Multi-specialty Telemetry Nurse.

The unit is primarily a medical / surgical and telemetry unit.

Candidates must be willing to float to other units and facilities as needed.

Available hours can be 36 or 48 hours per week.

Holiday work will be required.

The ideal candidate is expected to work every other weekend.

This nursing unit specializes in both medical and surgical care.

It can accommodate up to 36 patients.

Medical patients include those requiring dialysis and telemetry monitoring.

Surgical patients may include those undergoing orthopedic and general surgeries.

The dedicated team provides patient-centered care to support recovery.

The goal is to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

A strong emphasis is placed on pain management, mobility, and preventing complications.

The nursing staff aims to create a pleasant and comfortable experience for patients.

The nurse / patient ratio is 1 : 6, supported by a Team Leader.

Experience in a similar high-acuity environment is preferred.
