Job Description
The Project Manager leads and directs concurrent projects classified mainly as standard but
can include projects classified as complex based on business needs in accordance to the
Program outcomes. The individual may also be involved in larger scale projects supervised by
a Senior Project and / or Program Manager.
The primary responsibility of the Project Manager will be to interface with all project
stakeholders to take ownership of projects from original concept through to final
implementation, including handing over to Operations (whether internal or to the client's
operations).
The job will be primarily remote based with access to WWT offices around the globe if desired.
Occasional travel may be required for customer meetings or internal training.
Provide pre-sales support
There is an expectation for the Project Manager to use developed tools or engage with the
Pre-Sales & Sales teams in order to adequately scope and cost project solutions. The pre-
sales scoping of the project would involve the completion of a proposal that includes the
detailed task schedule, resource allocation and cost breakdown.
Manage project delivery
The Project Manager ensures that the project delivers the as-sold solution, remains within
baselined budget and is delivered on time, while achieving quality criteria and maintaining
client satisfaction. This individual will manage delivery of the project in line with WWT
methodology. This includes rigorous project scope control and management of change
variations. They also communicate with key stakeholders regarding the status of their projects.
Project set-up, resources or vendors and operations are efficiently managed, possibly with the
assistance of the Project Coordinator or Administrator.
Ensure client satisfaction
The individual manages client satisfaction, commitment and expectations to high service
levels and manages escalations adequately. They act as the single point of contact between
WWT and the client whilst taking accountability for all escalations relating to the project.
These individuals also ensure that the Project team displays the right level of client
engagement

and takes responsibility for all aspects of the projects. The individual will be required to
promote project services to both external and internal clients.
Role Overview
In this position youwill be required to : - Leads and directs concurrent standard or complex
projects. - Engage with stakeholders to take projects from original concept through final
implementation. - Provide pre-sales support by working with established tools or sales teams
to scope and cost a project solution which includes the completion of a proposal.
(revenue, cash-flow, profit margin) and is delivered on time whilst maintaining quality criteria
and client satisfaction. - Ensure the profitability of projects whilst protecting margins and
providing accurate billing forecasts, including financial audits and reviews throughout Program
delivery. - Manage delivery of the project, including rigorous scope control and change
management. - Ensure client satisfaction and manages escalations, acting as single point of
contact to the client. - Act as people manager and enable project teams to deliver against
performance objectives. - Weekly reporting feeding into the Regional and Global program
reports - Ensure the Program manager is kept informed of the project progress, including
RAIDC items. - Ensure adherence to relevant Program and project delivery methodologies
defined within WWT and supports and enables Program performance - Comply with the
agreed standards, governance model, methodologies and tools prescribed by the WWT
Experience
More than 6 years' working experience
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience within a project delivery environment
Minimum of 3 Years project management experience, as a Project Manager or Snr Project
Manager, preferably multi-national technology services environment (UC, LAN / WAN, IPT
preferred)
Must have a demonstrated ability to work with international clients, and have international
experience of working with European teams, in the delivery of projects.
Proven client engagement experience
Experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and
financial constraints
Experience in commercial project / program management i.e. managing program / project
Revenue, Invoicing, Cash Flow, Costs, Profitability, and Margin. Not only internal budget
and cost management.
