Psychologist
Licensed Clinical Psychologist or
Neuropsychologist
- Must be able to Evaluate, identify and diagnose mental, behavioral or emotional disorders for ages 16 and up
- Must be able to provide psychotherapy to patients with mental health disorders
- Must be able to administer / interpret psychological / neuropsychological tests and provide feedback on results / recommendations to patient and / or family
- Must be able to coordinate / communicate with the interdisciplinary team which includes physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and a team of therapists in managing patient challenges / behavioral dysfunction
- Must be able to communicate evaluation / assessment findings and recommends to the team with the patient’s care plan
- At least 2 years of experience in the clinical settings
Required
- PhD / PsyD in Clinical Psychology (does it have to be PhD or Masters will also be OK?)
- Psychology License to practice in Texas
- Must be able to maintain a consistent and dependable work schedule (8-5 M-F)
- Must have experience working with patients ages 16 and up, individually or in groups, and with their families, as needed
- Must be an effective communicator, able to easily build and maintain relationships with patients
- Must have a working knowledge of EMR / EHR, highly organized, and an ability to problem-solve
- Bi-lingual is a plus
