Registered Nurse (RN) - 6B Medical UnitDay Shift (Hours : 7a-7p) Weekends & Holidays per department guidelines.Newark, DEChristianaCare Hospital is seeking an experienced RN to work for our 6B Medical Unit. As a medical nurse, you will engage in a relationship-based care model, building relationships with patients, their families, and your peers, guided by our values of love and excellence.Unit6B is a 40-bed medical inpatient unit that provides acute medical care on a 24-hour basis. 6B is designed to accommodate 40 patients who need acute and / or chronic medical services. The scope of services on 6B encompasses a variety of diagnoses / testing, including, but not limited to, pneumonia, syncope, diabetes management, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and altered mental status. The patient population cared for in this area includes adults 18 years of age and up. The conditions of patients cared for on the unit can be described as good to fair.
