About the Role

We’re seeking a Backend Engineer (Member of Technical Staff) with 5+ years of experience to design and build core systems that power large-scale AI and data processing capabilities.

This is a foundational engineering role with high visibility and ownership, ideal for someone who enjoys solving deep technical problems and building scalable systems from the ground up.

You’ll play a central part in developing backend infrastructure that supports machine learning pipelines, structured data extraction, and production-grade applications used by customers in finance and operations.

What You’ll Do

• Build Core Systems : Design and implement backend systems that deploy and scale machine learning capabilities for both training and production.
• Architect for Scale : Lead architectural decisions that enable rapid iteration and robust performance across user-facing and internal systems.
• Extract and Structure Data : Develop systems that transform complex financial and tax documents into high-quality structured data.
• Integrate ML and Applications : Connect machine learning inference, monitoring tools, and LLM interactions with business logic and application layers.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Work with accountants, product teams, and engineers to translate real-world needs into reliable, efficient solutions.
• Optimize Infrastructure : Enhance CI / CD pipelines and database systems for performance, scalability, and seamless vendor API integrations.
